A detailed report specifically focused on the structural components of the building such as basement walls and supporting structure. A structural report is typically requested where there are known visible structural concerns such as bowed basement walls, basement wall cracking, floors out of level, bowed roofing, deflected main support beam, drainage problems.
Typically Structural inspections are requested by the following:
Shows 3” bowed wall will need reinforcing.
Shows bowed main wood beam missing support column.
Shows bowing of South wall along with wall settlement of the wall. Note main wood beam is sloping down towards the foundation wall from the wall settlement.
Shows deflecting main wood beam add steel column at center of span
